Reducing Costs

Repairing problems as soon as they occur will help to extend the life of your air conditioning unit. New Air Conditioning Installation can cost thousands of dollars. Getting the most out of your existing AC Unit means you can use your money on the things you want.

Why Should I Repair My Air Conditioner?

Under normal circumstances, you should have your Air Conditioning unit repaired when you notice any of the following signs:

If it never seems like your home is cool enough and your system runs more than usual, you may need to change your filters or your system may be low on refrigerant.

Insufficient refrigerant will make your system to work harder to generate enough cold air. Air conditioning systems do not consume refrigerant, so, if the level is low, it is the result of a leak.

Dust and dirt can accumulate and get caked onto your air conditioner’s condenser coil. When the condenser coil is covered by too much dirt, it becomes more difficult for the refrigerant inside the coil to condense back to its liquid form, making the system far less effective.
Condensation naturally occurs within your AC unit. The accumulated water is collected into a drip pan that drains away from your system. If that drain line becomes blocked, the water can back up into the system and your AC can stop functioning.

The air conditioning system depends upon the flow of an electrical current. If a faulty electrical control interrupts the flow of power, the air conditioning unit will no longer work.

The system also relies on sensors inside your thermostat to tell it when to turn on and off. A malfunctioning thermostat sensor could cause the air conditioning unit to never come on at all.
